HTGSports provides organizations the ability to easily manage online registrations, leagues, tournaments, camps, and tryouts via an easy-to-use web site (the "Service"). In order to provide this Service HTGSports must collect personal information about its customers. HTGSports is committed to protecting your personal information. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use this information.

Information Collection

HTGSports collects information during the online registration process such as player names, team names, addresses, etc. This information helps us to provide better service to all of our customers. HTGSports does not sell personal information on players, parents, coaches, referees, administrators, or any other person or organization in our database. All information HTGSports collects is voluntarily given from our users. All data is either information you give HTGSports or information other users give us about you. The information we collect allows our customers to register for events, set up their own events, and to use our Service and mobile application.

Use of Information

HTGSports may use the gathered information to do any of the following: administer events, provide results or scores of events, manage event registration, communicate with customers about use of the Service, and complete transactions.

Transaction Information

This category consists of information you may provide to HTGSports as a result of your registration for use of the Service, which may include contact information, billing address and financial information such as credit card number and expiration date. HTGSports will use transaction information solely for the purpose of completing the requested transaction or providing customer service with respect to that transaction.

Information Security

All personal information given to HTGSports is entered into the website database. HTGSports does not sell personal information on players, parents, coaches, referees, administrators, or any other person or company in our database. HTGSports will never release this information to anyone for any reason without prior approval by you, unless required by law. This information will never be shared with other users of the system nor will this information be distributed outside the system, unless required by law. HTGSports uses encryption, firewalls, and other security measures to prevent unauthorized access or improper use of the Service.

Testimonials

HTGSports posts customer testimonials on our web site. These testimonials may contain personal information such as the customer’s name or company. HTGSports always obtains the customer’s consent prior to posting the testimonial or any personal information affiliated with the testimonial.

Children's Privacy (COPPA Notice)

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) requires that we inform parents and legal guardians (collectively, “Parents”) about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under the age of 13 (“Child” or “Children”). It also requires that we obtain verifiable parental consent before allowing Children to use certain features of our Service.

HTGSports provides sports management tools for online registrations, leagues, tournaments, camps, and tryouts. Because our Service is designed for youth sports organizations, we process information regarding youth athletes, including Children under 13, but only with a Parent’s explicit involvement, oversight, and consent. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to register for an account independently or subscribe to HTGSports Services. All Child accounts must be established by a Parent or an authorized sports Organization.

A. Verifiable Parental Consent
Before HTGSports collects or utilizes any personal information about a Child, we require verifiable parental consent. We obtain this consent through the following methods:
  1. Parent-Initiated Registration & Payment: When a Parent registers their Child for a sport, tournament, or camp, and completes a transaction via our Service, this action constitutes explicit consent to collect the requested data.
  2. Email Invitation & Roster Confirmation: When a sports Organization (league, club, or team) creates a profile or roster entry on behalf of a Child, an invitation or notification is sent to the Parent. The Parent's subsequent activation or confirmation of the account establishes verifiable consent.
B. Information We Collect About Children
When a Parent or authorized sports Organization creates an entry or profile for a Child, we may collect the following information:
  • Profile & Contact Data: First and last name, date of birth, gender, and contact details linked to the Parent (e.g., Parent email address and phone number).
  • Athletic & Roster Information: Team names, jersey numbers, positions, and division designations.
  • Performance Data: Event participation records, tournament placement, game scores, or statistics compiled during the administration of the event.
  • Media: Action photographs or event video footage uploaded by the Parent, the team, or the event administrators.
C. How We Use and Share Children's Information
We use the personal information collected from Children strictly to deliver our core Service, which includes:
  • Managing registrations, schedules, and brackets for tournaments, leagues, and camps.
  • Publishing public-facing event results, team rosters, and game scores.
  • Enabling essential communications between sports organizations, coaches, and Parents.

HTGSports does not sell personal information regarding Children. We do not disclose this information to third parties for marketing or targeted advertising purposes. We may share a Child’s data only with the specific Organization (the league, tournament director, or club) running the event for which the Child was registered, or as required by law.

D. Tracking and Cookies

When a user is logged into a Child profile managed by a Parent, we may collect standard analytical data (e.g., pages visited, length of time active) to optimize performance and ensure platform security. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking or targeted ads on profiles identified as belonging to Children under 13.

E. Parent Rights: Reviewing, Modifying, or Deleting Data

Parents maintain complete control over their Child's data. If you are a Parent, you have the right to:
1. Review the specific personal information we have collected about your Child.
2. Direct us to modify, update, or entirely delete your Child's personal information.
3. Refuse to permit further collection or use of your Child's information.
